IslamicGems was launched in 2003 as an outlet for Muslim women to have access to contemporary hijab jewelry at an affordable price. Since then IslamicGems has become among the most trusted companies based in the United States of America setting standards in providing high quality products for Muslims around the globe. Our mission from the beginning has been to offer one of a kind elite products at inexpensive prices. We want to provide the Muslim woman with chic contemporary designs which still maintains modesty.
IslamicGems is the original creator of the charm hijab pin collections.We originally came up with the idea of interchangeable hijab pins which are admired and sought by many.

The Designer:
Nida Mirza, a self taught jewelry designer, builds on her strong Islamic traditions as well as her interest in design. In 2003, while completing her dual degrees in Interior Design and Direct Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Manhattan, New York; she realized the lack of Islamic inspired accessories. This motivated her to create contemporary hijab jewelry for herself and her friends. Based on the quality, positive response and increased demand for her unique style of hijab jewelry, in 2008 she created an E-boutique called IslamicGems.com. What started as a hobby, making a few pins, grew to several original collections and a successful online business.
Nida currently lives in Queens, NY and continues to design and inspire Muslim women around the world to feel confident and incorporate fashion in their Islamic attire while still being modest and true to their religious obligations.
The Designs:
All of our designs are IslamicGems originals. All of the jewelry are handmade with only the best quality of materials.
Nearly all of our pins are rare, with either only one created, or limited quantities made, so it will be your own exclusive pin. These pins are known for their sturdiness and durability, they will not bend nor will the caps break in anyway, even with careless handling. Feel free to leave them in your purse, or even your drawers without fear of them being damaged. I want to provide my customers with the best products, which will give many years of use, and yet still be affordable.
